VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Instructional volunteers are needed to participate in Junior Achievement Day on Monday, October 9. Students participate in the Junior Achievement (JA) program, teaching them about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on instruction. JA is taught in each classroom by adult volunteers (e.g. parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.). This is a great opportunity to participate in your child’s education. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Students grades K-5 have begun using the Accelerated Reader program.  We are in need of volunteers to help count up the number of Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes each student completed and to put together a bag of rewards for each student.  The bag of rewards will be sorted by teacher. 3 volunteers are needed for each counting day.  Counting will take place on Thursdays at 9:30am.  If all three volunteer slots are filled it only takes 1 hour.  It’s not a big time commitment but it really is a huge help!  Please sign up for 1 or as many time slots as you canRead More →
